Two students studying engineering in Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT), Burla, Sambalpur were drowned after they accidentally fell into Debjharan Waterfall today.
The deceased students were identified as Soumya Ranjan Beurea and Abhijit Samal.
As per information, around 40 students from the computer science department had gone for an excursion to the waterfall. Unfortunately, the two students slipped off accidentally into the waterfall and lost their lives.
The bodies have been sent for postmortem while police have initiated a probe into the matter.
