Union Ministers offer Tributes to Martyrs of Odisha today

Union Minister of Consumer Affairs Chhotu Ram Chaudhary and Union Telecommunications Minister Manoj Sinha will visit Odisha to attend the BJP’s countrywide fortnight programme’70 Saal Azadi-Zara Yaad Karo Kurbani’.

As per the information, Union Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram visited Khinda village in Sundargarh district today to pay his respects to freedom fighter Veer Surendra Sai.

Minister Chaudhary will visit the birthplace of martyr Baji Rout at Bhuban in Dhenkanal district today to pay tribute to the freedom fighter.

Similarly, Minister Sinha will visit the native place of Chandan Hajuri who is popularly known as Chakhi Khuntia at Puri on August 20.

Notably, ‘Yaad Karo Kurbani’ campaign was organized by the saffron party to offer tributes to the freedom fighters all over the country from August 9 which would culminate on August 23. As per the programme, Union Ministers are visiting native places of freedom fighters of various States.
