ONI Bureau: Veteran singer Mohammad Aziz breathed his last at Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai on Tuesday evening. He was 64.
Born in West Bengal, aziz started his playback singing career with Bengali film Jyoti. Aziz lent his voice in Hindi, Bengali and Odia film industries.
Some of his popular songs include My name is Lakhan, Mitwa Bhool Na Jana, Lal Dupatta Mal Mal Ka, Saawan Ke Jhoolon Ne and many more.
Aziz who has lent his voice to over 2000 songs also sung many Odia bhajans & film songs including Rupa Sagadire Suna Kania, Smruti Eka Rupa Janha, Janha Amaku Luchi Dekhuchi, E Jivane Mo Jivane, Aji Mu Peeni and many more.
