ONI Bureau: The Cuttack District Child Welfare team on Tuesday rescued a girl child from a house at CDA Sector 11 in Cuttack, after a video of a four-year-old girl, who was reportedly caned by a woman goes viral on social media on Tuesday. That video was being shot by an unidentified person.
It is to be noted that the child was left by her parents in her aunt’s custody since last nine months and the girl also does not want to go to her parents, who stay in New Delhi, as they also beat her.
Reportedly, the minor girl is carrying out all household works on a daily basis in her aunt’s house.
