ONI Bureau: The Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) has cancelled the Occupancy Certificate of a leading biscuit manufacturer ‘Anmol Industries Ltd’ at Chandaka for failing to comply with the fire safety norms.
After management of the unit failed to provide any compliance regarding the fire safety requirements, the Director General Fire Services, Home Guards and Civil Defence, wrote letter to the BDA to start process of cancellation of the Occupancy Certificate of the industrial unit.
The BDA action came as per the Odisha Development Authority (ODA) Act, 1982, BDA tweeted.
