Winter session of Odisha Assembly begins today

ONI Bureau:  The winter session of Odisha Assembly has began today with tributes to departed political leaders, jawans and journalist of India and Odisha.

The Assembly was today adjourned till 12:14 pm after an adjournment motion moved by Congress on issues of farmers, which was accepted by Odisha Assembly Speaker Pradip Amat.

The winter session will have a total of 23 working days and will continue till December 15. The ruling BJD, Congress and BJP have already listed up issues to counter each other in the House.

Several important bills are likely to be tabled during the session.
