ONI Bureau: The woman constable, who was critical after being attacked by her landlord’s son on September 24 in Sambalpur district, succumbed to her injuries at VIMSAR in Burla on Thursday.
The deceased identified as Rashmirekha Dixit along with her sister were attacked by her landlord’s son Sapan Chakraborty with a sharp weapon at Danipalli village under Ainthapali police limits in Sambalpur district, accusing of misbehaving with their relatives.
The duos were rushed to VIMSAR in a critical condition and were undergoing treatment since then.
