Dharmendra Pradhan writes to Naveen Patnaik to implement Ayushman Bharat Scheme in Odisha

Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan wrote a letter to Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, requesting him to implement Centre’s Ayushman Bharat scheme in the state.

In his letter dated September 11, Pradhan also requested the CM to extend his support to National Digital Health Mission (NDHM).

Stating that the two schemes had ‘immense potential in improving the lives of people in Odisha,’ he said that the NDHM scheme will leverage technology to ensure well-being of all citizens including the poor migrants.

For Ayushman Bharat scheme, the Union Minister said that the scheme seeks to cover 50 crore beneficiaries in the country, including 60 lakh beneficiaries in Odisha.

Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan had also stressed on similar requests to CM Naveen Patnaik earlier.
