Australia beat India in Perth Test to level Series at 1-1

ONI Bureau:  A rampaging Australia decimated Team India in the second Test match in Perth to level the series at 1-1 with two more Tests to go. Australia won the Test by 146 runs as India bowled out for a paltry 140 in the second innings.

Earlier, India resumed from the overnight score of 112/5 while chasing a victory target of 287 and bundled out for 140. Rahane and Rishabh Pant scored 30 runs each, while Hanuma Vihari made 28. For Australia, Starc and Lyon took 3 wickets each, while Hazlewood and Cummins took 2 wickets each.

Nathan Lyon, who bagged 8 wickets in the match, was declared ‘Man of the Match’.
