ONI Bureau: Ahead of the 11th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL), which will be start from April 7 to May 27, 578 cricketers will go under the hammer during the two-day IPL players’ auctions in Bengaluru.
While, England’s all-rounder Ben Stokes with a base price of 2 crore has been sold to Rajasthan Royals for 12.50 crore on IPL auction today, India opener K L Rahul and middle-order batsman Manish Pandey has been bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kings XI Punjab respectively for Rs 11 crore each.
Meantime, Australia pacer Mitchell Starc was picked up by Kolkata Knight Riders for Rs 9.4 crore and Glenn Maxwell sold for Rs 9 crore to Delhi Daredevils.
