Ranji Trophy: Odisha put Haryana on Mat

The Odisha bowlers did a commendable job on the Day 1 of Ranji Trophy match against Haryana yesterday, as they bowled them out for a paltry 137 in Rohtak. Haryana had built a pitch that will help the pacers. But, it were Odisha bowlers who took the advantage, as they got a chance to bowl first under favourable conditions.

For Haryana, Abhimanuy Khod (38) and Avi Barot (21) tried to put some resistance, but that was not enough. The Odisha Pace battery Basant Mohanty, Suryakant Pradhan and Deepak Behera took three wickets each.

In reply, Odisha ended Day 1 at 39/0. Natraj Behera was batting on 29. All will depend on how Haryana pacers Joginder Sharma and Mohit Sharma bowl today.
