Warner hits Tons in Both Innings of Adelaide Test

David Warner scored hundreds in both innings to put Australia on top in the first Test match in Adelaide. At stumps on Day 4, Australia finished at 290/5 with a lead of 363 runs. It would be interesting to see what target the Kangaroos will fix for India on Day 5 with Nathan Lyon going for the kill.

Earlier, India bowled out for 444 in reply to Australia’s 517/7 declared. Virat Kohli was the top scorer at 115. Vijay (53), Pujara (73), Rahane (62), Rohit (43) and Shami (34) were the top contributors. For Australia, Lyon took five wickets. Johnson and Siddle took two wickets each.

Australia scored at quick pace and garnered 290 runs in just 69 overs. Warner was out for 102. He had scored 145 in the first innings. Watson made 33. Steven Smith was batting on 52. Mitchell Marsh was the biggest entertainer, as he hit 40 off 26 balls with 4 boundaries and 3 sixes. For India, Karn Sharma has taken two wickets so far.
