Samsung launches Z1 Tizen Smartphone @Rs 5,700

Samsung Electronics Co Ltd has launched new low-priced smartphone Z1 on Wednesday at Rs 5,700. The smartphone will be available across India from today. Unlike other smartphones, Z1 runs on Tizen operating system, not on Android.

The company launched low-priced mobile to reach millions of first time buyers of smartphones in India. The country has been the third largest market for smartphones in the world. Keeping the price at low, Samsung aimed to give a tough competition to other smartphones makers in the country. There are many devices within the range price of Z1 available in the market.

Regarding the specification and features, Z1 is just like other smartphones available in the market. Z1 Tizen has 4-inch screen with a resolution of 800×480 pixels. It is powered by 1.2GHz and 768MB RAM. The smartphone has 4GB internal storage and can be extended through to 64GB microSD card. It has 3.1 mega pixel rear camera.  It will be available in white, black and red colours.
