WhatsApp makes itself Available on Web Browser

Good news for 700 million daily active users of WhatsApp! The popular mobile messenger is now available on Web Browser. It is just like a dream coming true for the users those have been eagerly waiting for this development to happen. WhatsApp, which was recently acquired by Facebook, has announced the launch of a new service called WhatsApp Web. The address of web browser is https://web.whatsapp.com that works on Google Chrome.

Popular mobile messenger, WhatsApp confirmed the development today on its blog post that reads “Our Web client is simply an extension of your phone: the Web browser mirrors conversations and messages from your mobile device – this means all of your messages still live on your phone.”

In order to having it on your browser, first download the latest version of the WhatsApp on your smartphone. Phone needs to be stay connected with PC for using the web browser, this means your phone is the main and the web browser is just the mirror to your conversations over the app. This service is currently available to Android, Windows and Blackberry users. The iPhone users need to wait for sometime before getting this facility.
