Federation may start export in next two to three months after regulatory approvals. Amul will be the first Indian dairy product maker to enter Russian market. The revenue of GCMMF is expected to cross Rs 22,000 crore in the current fiscal, it was Rs 18,000 crore in last fiscal.
R S Sodhi, the GCMMF Managing Director, said GCMMF is planning for a capacity expansion, under this the company is likely to invest Rs 4,000 to Rs 5, 000 in next three years. It is reported that a delegation from Russia visited the plant and approved Amul products. Sodi said that Russia would import about 8-10 lakh tonne of milk power and 20 lakh tonne of cheese per year. On Friday, Amul launched fresh milk pouches in Hyderabad market.
