Shanghai Composite Index closes high at 3,616.11 Points

Beijing, Nov 24: China’s stocks closed higher on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.16 percent to close at 3,616.11 points.

The smaller Shenzhen index gained 0.86 percent to close at 12,694.86 points, Xinhua reported.

The ChiNext Index, which tracks China’s NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, climbed 1.64 percent to close at 2,816.05 points.  (IANS)
