Global Crude Oil Prices slump to US$ 29.24 per bbl

The international crude oil price of Indian Basket as computed/published today by Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas was US$ 29.24 per barrel (bbl) on 7th January, 2016. This was lower than the price of US$ 31.33 per bbl on previous publishing day of 6th January, 2016.

In rupee terms, the price of Indian Basket decreased to Rs 1956.65 per bbl on 7th January as compared to Rs 2090.22 per bbl on 6th January. Rupee closed weaker at Rs 66.91 per US$ on 7th January as against Rs 66.72 per US$ on 6th January.
