Hindustan Copper signs MoU with Mines Ministry for 2015-16

Hindustan-CopperThe Hindustan Copper Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Mines, Government of India, in New Delhi on 31.03.2015, outlining the business plan for the financial year 2015-16.

The MoU was signed between Dr Anup K. Pujari, Secretary, Ministry of Mines, and Shri K.D. Diwan, Chairman-cum-Managing Director, HCL, in the presence of other senior officials of the Ministry and the Company.

R. Sridharan, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Mines, Arun Kumar, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Mines, N.K. Singh, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Mines, S. K. Mishra, Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Mines, Hans Kumar, Deputy Manager (Mktg.), HCL, and Manoj K. Choudhary, Liaison Officer, HCL were present at the occasion.

Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL), a public sector enterprise of the Government of India was incorporated on 9th November 1967. It has the distinction of being India’s only vertically integrated copper producing company encompassing mining, beneficiation, smelting, refining and casting of refined copper metal.
