Indian, French Business Tycoons meet Today in Paris

Top business leaders from India and France are meeting in Paris today under the aegis of India-France CEO Forum, which is being hosted by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Mr Dhruv Sahaney and Mr Paul Harmeline are leading their business delegations from India and France respectively. Indian delegation includes CEOs of some leading business houses in the country like Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group, Bharati Telecom, Essar and Bharat Forge etc.

The Forum is one of the institutional arrangements between the two countries to boost the bilateral economic ties by promoting trade and investments. It will take stock of current level of economic cooperation and discuss ways to take it forward for mutual benefit.

The deliberations of the India-France CEO Forum will be presented by the Co-chairs jointly to the President of France and Indian Prime Minister on Friday.

The meeting certainly assumes significance in the backdrop of Prime Minister Modi’s visit and his famous “ Make in India” call to the business community across the globe.
