LIC plans 4 Satellite Offices in Odisha

The major life insurer of India, the Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) will open four satellite offices in Odisha by the next fiscal year 2015-16.

Currently,  there are 60 satellite offices in Odisha and the company has been planning to add four new offices to each division in the state.

The East Zonal Manager of LIC, NP Chawla told that comparing other division of LIC in Odisha, the Bhubaneswar division was performing better. He added that, Bhubaneswar division has already collected Rs.95 crore premiums against the target of Rs.153 crore given for this fiscal.

LIC aimed to collect Rs. 114 0 crore from Odisha during current fiscal year

The marketing manager of Bhubaneswar division Saroj Kumar Samantaray said that the LIC aiming to make 44 lakh new life insurance policies in Odisha in the current fiscal year.
