Sensex and Nifty end in Positive Note

After choppy session of yesterday, where the BSE Sensex was slipped below the psychological mark of 28,000 points and the NSE Nifty shed around 90 pints, today both the stock markets ended in positive note.

The BSE Sensex was ended at 27,831.10 points with advancing 34.09 (+0.12%) and Nity was ended at 8,355.65 points with advancing 14.95 (+ 0.18%).

The major gainer at BSE Sensex were Sksmicro, Gitanjali, Pipavavdoc, Ajantpharm and Lichsgfin and loser were Havells, Rasoypr, Aban, Vakrangee and Godrejcp.

SKS Microfinance Ltd’s scrip Sksmicro gained much in today trading session, the price advanced by 37.55 rupees (+10.76%), and the last trading price of the scrip was Rs.386.50.

Among indices – S&P BSE 100, S&P BSE MID CAP, S&P BSE SMALL CAP and S&P BSE 200 increased by points 28.39, 94.82, 118.42, and 12.6 respectively.

At NSE Nifty gainers were – Sbin, Jindalstel, Ongc, Pnb and Bankbaroda. Losers were NMDC, BHEL, HINDUNILVR, GAIL and TECHM.
