Odisha Among Six States To Be Covered Under ‘STARS’ Project

Odisha is among the six states to be covered under ‘STARS’ project which is supported by the World Bank. Union Minister Prakash Javadekar said that the project will support the states in terms of education.

Other than Odisha, the other five states are Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Kerala.

The program known as Strengthening Teaching-Learning and Results for States (STARS) will be implemented under the Department of School Education & Literacy.

The cost of this project is going to be Rs 5,718 crore.
