Arvind Kejriwal meets PM Narendra Modi at 7 RCR

Modi-KejriwalDelhi Chief Minister-designate and AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at 7 RCR in New Delhi on Thursday. This is the first-ever meeting between both leaders, who have stormed into power with a massive mandate. Kejriwal was accompanied by Manish Sisodia.

Narendra Modi had a very cordial meeting with Kejriwal and Sisodia for around 30 minutes. He expressed his inability to attend the swearing-in ceremony on Feb 14, as he will be in Baramati (Maharashtra) on that day. Kejriwal raised the issue of full statehood to Delhi. The PM assured him to look into the matter.

Kejriwal, along with party leader Manish Sisodia, had met Urban Development Minister Venkaiah Naidu, Home Minister Rajnath Singh and President Pranab Mukherjee yesterday. The Aam Aadmi Party won 67 out of the 70 seats in the Delhi assembly polls.
