Campaigning ends in Gujarat; 2nd Phase Polling on Dec 14

ONI Bureau: The much publicized and hyped Gujarat Polls are coming to an end within two days. Campaigning for the second and final phase polling in the state ended today with Modi and Rahul trying their best to outwit each other.

Some of the leading TV channels, including Times Now and Republic are trying hard to discredit Rahul Gandhi and going all out against him to project him as a loser. They are holding the continuous debate prime time. But, will these English TV Channels make an impact on Gujarat voters? Difficult to say!

Whatever may be the outcome of Gujarat polls, it will be remembered as the heated an tense battle between PM Modi and Congress President Rahul Gandhi. Modi may still hold an edge over Rahul as the ‘Son of the Soil’. But, a tough fight is definitely on the cards.

89 out of 182 seats went to polls in the first phase. In the second phase, 93 seats will go to polls on December 14. Counting will be held on December 18.
