UP Civic Polls: Independents rule the roost

ONI Bureau: While BJP stayed ahead of other parties in the civic polls in Uttar Pradesh, Independent candidates ruled the roost and beat all political parties. Only in Mayoral polls, BJP could beat them.

BJP – 596, Independents – 224

BJP – 14, BSP – 2
