Nitish Kumar prevents Jitan Ram Manjhi from “eating” Mangoes

The politics in Bihar has taken an ugly turn, as Bihar CM Nitish Kumar deployed 24 policemen at the CM’s residence currently occupied by former CM Jitan Ram Manjhi and prevented him from consuming mangoes, litchis and jackfruits inside the garden.

The policemen have been guarding around 100 trees, and issued a notification, saying only the CM has right over these trees and fruits as per the rules. Jitan Ram Manjhi, who had resigned in February, is yet to vacate the residence despite expedite of he deadline. He has argued that a new residence for him has not been arranged yet.

The JD(U) has termed the development as a technical one as per the rule book. But, the BJP has taken potshots at him, saying Nitish is more worried about ‘Aam’ rather than ‘Aam Aadmi’ of Bihar.
