Ollywood Actress Joins Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)

Bidusmita Dash Mantry, an ollywood actress joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday. She took on the responsibilities at the party’s state headquarters in the presence of many senior leaders.
Among the many present on the occasion were actor turned politician Anu Choudhury, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, national vice-president Baijayant Panda and State in-charge Arun Singh.

It’s becoming common nowadays for actors and actresses to join politics. Earlier too ollywood actors like Aparajita Mohanty, Pinki Pradhan, Mihir Das, Pintu Nanda and Sritam Das had joined the saffron party.
