Stabbed To Death; Congress Worker

Jagatsinghpur: On Monday, a Congress worker was stabbed to death at Noliasahi near Gadakujanga under Balikuda-Ersama Assembly constituency.
The deceased has been identified as Lachman Behera.
According to sources in the police, while Lachman was on his way to home after casting his vote, some unidentified miscreants attacked him with a broken glass bottle. On being noticed by pedestrians, he was rushed to Cuttack hospital but he succumbed to his injury.

Though the exact motive behind the attack is yet to be ascertained, it is suspected that there could be some past resentments leading to the murder.
