Bollywood Actor Rishi Kapoor dies at 67, watch his UNSEEN pictures
Veteran Actor Rishi Kapoor has been deceased at 67 after a two-year battle with cancer. Kapoor died at the Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai. As per brother Randhir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor wife and actor was by Rishi Kapoor’s side.
Amitabh Bachchan took to twitter to announce the news. He stated, “He’s GONE .. ! Rishi Kapoor .. gone .. just passed away .. I am destroyed !” wrote Amitabh, who has been a friend and colleague of Rishi’s for years”
Kapoor, son of Indian cinema legend Raj Kapoor and Krishna Raj Kapoor, had starred in several blockbuster films. He was also a filmmaker. He received the National Film Award for his debut role as a child artist in his father Raj Kapoor’s 1970 film Mera Naam Joker (1970). Kapoor had his first lead role as an adult opposite Dimple Kapadia in 1973 with the film Bobby and received the Filmfare Best Actor Award in 1974.
