Bande Utkala Janani To Be Included in School Course: CM Naveen Patnaik
Odia patriotic poem ‘Bande Utkala Janani’ will be included in school course, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik informed on Friday.
Students of ninth and tenth grades will read the timeless poem written by Kantakabi Laxmikant Mohapatra. An official notification in this regard was issued with the approval of the Chief Minister.
“This great song will strengthen the sense of Odia nationalism among the students and introducing them to the greatness of the Odisha state, ”said Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.
