Divorce on cards for Anubhav Mohanty – Varsha Priyadarshini? Here is what he has to say

A day after actor Varsha Priyadarshini’s domestic violence complaint against her husband and MP Anubhav Mohanty became public, more and more details are emerging about the duo. It is likely that Ollywood’s most loved on-screen and off-screen couple Anubhav and Varsha are heading for a divorce.

Anubhav Mohanty, who had maintained a stoic silence, has now opened up on the issue. He has quashed all allegations leveled by his wife Varsha Priyadarshini.

In a letter released on his social media account, Anubhav said that their marriage with Varsha was not doing well, so he had filed for divorce in July this year.

He has said that though he loved Varsha, their marriage didn’t work and parting ways seems the only option.

“I have loved Varsha deeply and married her. I deeply respect Varsha for the successful woman she is. My marriage has been in bad shape since long. I have tried my level best to reason, to explain, to understand, to make amends; unfortunately things didn’t shape up as expected.”

Anubhav also respected privacy in the matter and said it is ‘saddest part’ of his life and requested people to refrain from rumour-mongering.

Varsha had filed domestic violence case and alleged Anubhav had drinking problems and extra-marital affairs.
