ONI Bureau: Odisha based Indian actress-filmmaker Nandita Das will be honoured with the International Federation of Film Producers Association (FIAPF) Award at the 12th Asia Pacific Screen Awards (APSA) in Brisbane, Australia on November 29.
Nandita Das will receive the FIAPF award for her achievement in films in the Asia Pacific region.
Born on November 7, 1969, to eminent artist Jatin Das and writer Varsha Das, Nandita began her acting career with the theatre group Jana Natya Manch.
The actress has acted in over 40 feature films in ten different languages. She has twice served on the jury of Cannes Film Festival.
Das is known for her acting roles in movies including “Fire”, “Earth” and “Between the Lines”.
