Gautam Gulati wins Bigg Boss 8 Title

Gautam-GulatiPutting all rumours and speculations into rest, Gautam Gulati was crowned the Bigg Boss 8 winner, as he defeated his main rival Karishma Tanna. RJ Preetam Singh, who was among the three finalists in the last round, decided to quit the show by taking Rs 25 lakh ahead of the big announcement. Later, India TV’s Rajat Sharma confirmed that Preetam took the right decision.

Preetam, known as a big player inside the Bigg Boss 8, who played the ‘victim card’ effectively to gain sympathy among the people, walked away with the coveted trophy and Rs 50 lakh cash prize. Karishma Tanna, who posed a threat to all challengers, had to be content with the second spot.

Gautam Gulati was part of the famous P3G group, which sent two finalists. Earlier, Ali Quli Mirza and Dimpy Ganguly were evicted from the show a day earlier, which was also telecast tonight. According to Colors, Gautam Gulati received the highest votes ever among all other editions of Bigg Boss. He was a deserving winner.

The glittering grand finale of Bigg Boss 8, missed the original host Salman Khan, who left the show a month ago because of his busy shooting schedule, after the Colors extended it by a month. Farah Khan had replaced Salman. It was expected that Salman would appear on the grand finale. However, that did not happen, which sent a signal that he may not return to Bigg Boss again.
