The-Ghazi-AttackThe Ghazi Attack, an Indian war film directed by Sankalp Reddy,  is pitched as India’s first war-at-sea, underwater film. It is inspired by the true events from the 1971 Indo-Pakistan War.

The Ghazi Attack is an ambitious film made in Telugu and Hindi and also has been dubbed in Tamil. Film Director Karan Johar has distributed the Hindi Version and the music is composed by Krishna Kumar. The Visual Effects was handled by Eva Motion Studios.

The Ghazi Attack is based on the mysterious sinking of a submarine called PNS Ghazi. According to the Pak army, PNS Ghazi sank due to some explosions caused by itself or the landmines it laid in the Bay of Bengal. It is still a mystery that what actually caused the PNS Ghazi to sink and was thus the facts inspired the filmmaker to base a war film on it.

Moreover, 90 percent of the action occurs within the submarines and thus under water. The setting of the movie is totally new to the audience who has rarely seen the inside of the submarines on the big screen. The action set-ups are brilliant.  It is said to be one of the finest effort of the debutant writer-director Sankalp Reddy.
