Kamal Haasan launches Political Party ‘Makkal Needhi Maiam’

ONI Bureau:  The Tamil actor-turned politician Kamal Haasan on Wednesday launched his political party, named it as ‘Makkal Needhi Maiam’ (People’s Justice Party).

The actor also unveiled party’s flag that symbolises the strength of unity among people in Tamil Nadu.

While speaking on the occasion Haasan said, “It’s here to stay, and to make the change we all aspire for. Guide us to serve you’. Pointing that his objective is to fight corruption, he sought personal sacrifices to end corruption.

Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal, his party colleague and other dignitary leaders were also attended the launch conference.
