Kuna Tripathy appointed Chairman of Odisha Film Development Corporation

ONI Bureau: The Odisha Government on Thursday appointed Ollywood actor and TV personality Satyabrata Tripathy, known as Kuna Tripathy as the chairperson of the Odisha Film Development Corporation (OFDC).

Tripathy will replace Munna Khan, who will continue as Chairman of the Odisha State Cashew Development Corporation Ltd.

An artiste of the All India Radio (AIR), Cuttack,  Kuna Tripathy is best known for hosting OTV’s ‘News-Fuse’ which is a very popular widely viewed show in Odisha. It is believed that the BJD government roped in on Kuna Tripathy to take him away from OTV, which is not in the good books of the ruling party for taking an anti-establishment stand.
