Malayalam actress Bhavana abducted, molested; Driver arrested

Malayalam actress Bhavana was abducted and molested by his former Driver and his friends on Friday night while she was returning home from a shoot in Thrissur of Ernakulam district in Kerala.

The miscreants have stopped Bhavana’s car and entered forcibly into the car near Athani and Angamaly. They allegedly molested her and took videos and photos of the young actress inside the running car till they reached Palarivattom.

After getting off at Palarivattom, the gang escaped in another car. Bhavana then took shelter in a film director’s house in Kakkannad, who informed the police.

The actor complained that her former driver Sunil Kumar was also involved in the act. Sunil Kumar was fired by Bhavana from his job for which he is suspected to have held a grudge against her.

The police have registered a case of kidnapping and molestation. Martin, who was driving Bhavana’s car last night, was also taken into police custody, as a suspect.
