Noted film director Raju Mishra passed away due to a massive heart attack at his residence in Odisha on Monday. He was 72.
His family informed that the director suffered from heart attack after returning from a bank. He was immediately rushed to a private hospital, but was declared ‘brought dead.’
The Jaydev Samman recipient, Raju Mishra made his debut as an actor in the film ‘Ulka.’
An alumnus of Film and Television Institute, Pune, he was also a cinematographer, music composer, lyricist, dialogue and screenplay writer.
Some of his memorable works include Jor Jar Mulak Tar, Sagar Ganga, Sata Michha, Chaka Akhi Sabu Dekhuchi’ and ‘Asuchi Mo Kalia Suna.’
