AAI Chairman inaugurates Art Gallery at BPIA-Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar, Dec 17: In an effort to encourage and promote amateur and budding artists, Airports Authority of India, has developed an Art Gallery in the public concourse area of New Domestic Terminal (T1), BPI Airport, Bhubaneswar, a platform to facilitate the budding artists to exhibit their creations/artwork and make a reasonably significant mark in the Art world. The Art gallery was inaugurated by R.K. Srivastava, Chairman, AAI.

To make a reasonably significant mark in the Art World, AAI invited original creations including sculpture or any other form of Art but not limited to paintings, for display inside the terminal building. The artist shall have a right to put a tag “for sale” and the Art work shall carry price tag fixed on it. It is understood that this step taken by AAI will help create vocation and much anticipated prominence to the local talent.

So far the art work created by the well-known artists from Odisha has been displayed in the Art gallery. In its continuous endeavour,  an Exhibition by Artist Ankit Ranjan displayed on Wednesday in the Art Gallery,  Public concourse Area of Domestic Terminal Building(T-1) , B P I Airport, Bhubaneswar.
