Achyuta Samanta gets Think India Award

Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT and KISS was presented with Think India Award by Think Media, Inc. at Transforming India Conclave 2014 in New Delhi on December 18, 2014. Aligning with the Prime Minister’s vision to make India a super power, Think Media Inc. had organized the Transforming India Conclave. The conclave comprised five panel discussions on issues that form the framework of the Prime Minister’s vision.

Dr. Samanta participated as a panelist in ‘Make India’ panel discussion. On this occasion, Think Media Inc. honoured some distinguished individuals, organizations, NGOs and corporate houses who have worked actively and tirelessly to achieve social transformations and created value for growth and development of the country.

Dr. Samanta was conferred the award for his work in the field of educational reforms along with Kailash Satyarthi, Nobel Laureate & renowned social worker and founder of Sulava International, Vindeswar Pathak, who were honoured for their outstanding work in social reform.

The awardees were selected considering parameters like Accountability, Transparency, Responsive, Inclusive, Effectiveness, Great Work Place, Leadership & Innovation and Socially Responsible, etc.
