BJEM School in Bhubaneswar celebrates Biju Birth Centenary

Bhubaneswar, March 5,2016: Buxi Jagabandhu English Medium School, one of the oldest schools of Bhubaneswar celebrates the birth centenary of the legendary leader Sri Biju Patnaik with great pomp and show. On this occasion the Chairman of the School Sri. Gagan Chandra Das reflected on the contribution of the great leader in spreading science education in Odisha.

The Manager of the School Mr. Pratap Kumar Jena also highlighted the life history of the great adventurer, aviator, Industrialist and politician, the multi-faceted personality, Sri, Biju Patnaik.

The Principal of the School Ms. Sandhya Jena welcomed the gathering and said that no other leader occupied the imagination of the people of Odisha like Biju Patnaik, she also said he had a remarkable capacity to transmit his cheerful strength to others.

The secretary of Sahitya Sansad of the School Sri. Nalinikanta Mohanty recited a heart touching poem about the great leader. The students mesmerized the gathering with a beautiful patriotic song. The vote of thanks was presented by the Academic Supervisor Sri Barada Prasad Paikray. The function was attended by the students, staff and members of the School Management Committee.
