BPIA Director Sharad Kumar felicitated at KIIT

Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) Director Sharad Kumar was felicitated by KIIT on Friday. KIIT Founder, Dr. A. Samanta and Secretary, KIIT & KISS R. N. Dash felicitated Mr. Kumar in the presence of other high level dignitaries of KIIT.

Mr. Kumar was felicitated for his dedicated efforts, adherence to excellence in service and effective leadership in making Odisha proud by bringing the honour of being the 33rd best airport in the world and 6th best in the country as surveyed recently by an independent international agency, Airport Services Quality (ASQ), which ranks airports worldwide on passenger satisfaction index.

In his acceptance speech Mr. Kumar said, it is now very rare to get appreciation from others for any noble work, though it doesn’t value any cost. But Samanta has such kind of art, which may be called as art of appreciation. He thanked Dr. Samanta’s for his guidance and advice time to time, which encouraged him in development of infrastructure of airport, he added.
