Calendar ‘ VOUGE-2015 ’ launched in Bhubaneswar

Odisha’s emerging fashion photographer Manas Ranjan Ojha on Wednesday launched his current year’s thematic calendar ‘ VOUGE-2015 ’ under his own brand ‘Archik’s Photography’ at Bhubaneswar.

National level awards winner and Principal Consultant, Brukaan Designers & Associates C.R. Sahoo and eminent fashion photographer of the state Biren Pattanaik were present to launch the calendar as Guests of the occasion.

Ojha has used the route of fashion to work towards healthy reformation of the society at large. ‘VOUGE-2015’ is the manifestation of his long standing dream to execute fashion photography skills for various social issues like ‘Stop Acid Attack’, ‘Empowering Women’, ‘Smoking Kills’, ‘Plastic Pollution’, PETA (Vegetarian & Skin) which he has tried to portray in this calendar.

Miss Muskan Dash, the top fashion model in Odisha, has also done justice to her work and beautifully portrayed every emotion in the calendar.

Speaking on the occasion Manas Ranjan Ojha, the photographer and brain behind the calendar said, “This is an attempt by the Archik’s team to convey a message that each of us can play a pivotal role for a positive change in society by using our skills and being in our own areas of operation.”

In her views, Muskan said, “This is third time in a row I am associated with this project and I appreciate Manas’s determination to introduce a trend and continue with the same quality instead of many challenges.”

“Being the face of the calendar, I feel very privileged and wish Manas all the very best in his future Endeavour”, she added.

In these turbulent times where social awareness can create a huge difference, Ojha hopes his calendar will encourage others to come forward and contribute in making a better world.
