CCWD, Action Aid organise Leadership Training for Women

Bhubaneswar, Oct 17: To provide knowledge  on government laws, plan & provision for women, city based voluntary organization named Center for Child and Women Development (CCWD) with  the support of  Action Aid & European Commission organized one day leadership training for women at Red Cross Bhawan here today.

As many as 70 women from different slum pockets participated in this programme. On this occasion, Rajalaxmi Das acting commissioner of Odisha State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (OSCPCR) participated as chief guest. She lamented that, women should educate & aware about their rights for the well being of society. Citizenship and leadership quality are most essential for every woman said Sadasiv Swain, secretary of CCWD. Among others   Trainer Usharani Behera & Mamata Singh shared the laws of work place harassment for women. The welcome address given by Santap Panda lastly Mrunmayee  Mishra proposed a warm vote of thanks to all.
