GMEA 2015 Summit: Vedanta Lanjigarh bags Frost& Sullivaan Award

Mumbai, May 29: In the award ceremony of Green Manufacturing Excellence Award- 2015 Summit, Mr K.K.Dave, COO, Vedanta Limited, Lanjigarh received the “Certificate of Merit” awards in Challengers class for its sustainable practices recently at Mumbai Hotel Hayat Regency in Mumbai. The award by Frost and Sullivan was given to Vedanta Ltd, Lanjigarh in the presence others companies for the assessment based of performance record   of sustainable practices and various initiatives taken by Company during the year 2014-15. Congratulating the total Lanjigarh team, Mr Dave says” Our Unit has been adopting various Sustainable innovative practices towards the development of the region and Plant which will be able to make the Plant No 01 in future”.

Previously Company has been awarded in various categories in Environment, CSR, HR, and PR for its outstanding practices& Performances from various reputed organizations like GreenTech, CII, PRCI, F & S, and AIMA etc.
