Seminar on Digital Health (1)Bhubaneswar, Oct 1: HelloDoctor24x7, a healthcare company, organised seminar on the topic of ‘Digital Health’ at Hotel Keshari, here today. Shrabani Mitra, Vice-President (Global Operations) welcomed the guests and highlighted the activities of the company.

Speaking on the occasion, author Anil Dhir said need of the hour is to focus on the rural health. He focused on the current challenges and opportunities in rural health sector.

Dr. Balakrishna Panda, Medical Consultant, spoke about the successful implementation of public private partnership model in healthcare sector. Dr. Lalit Ranjan Manik, Co-founder of HelloDoctor24x7, said that digital health in healthcare service delivery plays major role in this sector. He said we aim to engage patients and doctors through mobile phone and internet. We have developed hyper local doctor centric model where patients pay doctors per consultation on minute basis, he added.

Shashank Singhal, Co-founder of HelloDctor24x7, said “Company aims to cater both rural and urban market through mobile technology and remote health monitoring and serving more than 10 crore people in next five years.”

On the occasion, the company signed MoU with three service centre agencies – Sahaj, Zoom and Basix as a pilot to establish 100 Digital Health Kisoks in Common Services Centers (Jana Seva Kendra) in 20 different districts of Odisha.
