ICSI Bhubaneswar Chapter wins National Award

The ICSI-Bhubaneswar Chapter has received the ”ICSI National Best Chapter Award” on 1st January, 2015 at Chennai. The Bhubaneswar Chapter of The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), which was set up in 1981, has been conferred with the prestigious award for 2013. The award was presented to CS Arabinda Acharya, its Chairman. ICSI Celebrated its Day of Statutory Recognition on 1st January as UDAI DIVAS at Chennai on 1st January, 2015.

Many dignitaries were present at the felicitation ceremony. They included Dr. J. Saddakadullah, Regional Director, RBI, Chennai, K.Pandiarajan, CMD, MAFOI, CS R Sridharan, President, CS Vikas Y Khare, Vice President, CS Sutanu Sinha, Chief Executive & Officiating Secretary and other Council Members.

CS Arabinda Acharya, while receiving the award, stated that for a smaller Chapter like  Bhubaneswar, it is a rare achievement to be adjudged as the ‘National Best Chapter’ and this has happened for the first  time in the history of ICSI. For this rare achievement, he has given all credit to students, members of this Bhubaneswar Chapter and also to all the past Management Committee members as well as the present Management Committee members. Mr. Acharya expressed his deep gratitude for their co-operation, support and goodwill.
