Indian Red Cross Society hosts WC Meeting in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar, Aug 11:  The Working Committee Meeting of Indian Red Cross Society, Odisha State Branch was held under the Chairmanship of   Shri Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak, Hon’ble Minister, Health & Family Welfare, I&PR., Odisha, at Red Cross Bhavan. Dr. Chakradhar Panda, Honorary Secretary extended a warm welcome to the members present on the occasion and subsequently placed the budget and Annual Action plan before the committee. He emphasized on the new initiatives to be taken by Red Cross Odisha to build the capacity of Red Cross Volunteers. Besides, he made a power point presentation on IRCS-OSB Annual Activities 2014-15.

In this meeting Shri Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak, Hon’ble Minister, Health & Family Welfare, I&PR. Govt. of Odisha & Chairman, Working Committee, IRCS-OSB expressed that activities of Red Cross on Nabakalebara is praise worthy.

Shri S.B. Mishra, I.A.S (Retd.), Mrs. Sarmistha Sethy, Deputy Secretary to Govt., Finance Department, Dr. Chita Ranjan Das, Director, Health Services, Odisha, Dr. Deepika Mohanty, Chairperson, Central Red Cross Blood Bank, Cuttack participated in the said meeting as members and offered valuable suggestions.

The meeting ended with a formal vote of thanks by Sri Govinda Chandra Mahunta, Honorary Joint Secretary.
