JSPL Employees donate 284 Units of Blood on OP Jindal’s 86th Birth Anniversary
The employees and workers of Jindal Steel & Power Limited have donated 284 units of blood at Blood donation camp organized on the occasion of 86th birth anniversary of Shri Om Prakash Jindal, the founder of O.P. Jindal Group.
Mr.Subodh Mishra of Angul who has donated blood for 112 times inaugurated this Two-day long mega blood donation camp held at Occupational Health Centre (OHC). Executive Director (I/C) and Location Head of JSPL’s Angul unit Mr. Dinesh Kumar Saraogi, District Blood Bank Officer Dr. Biswajeet Samal, Jindal Mahila Samiti President Mrs. Sujata Saraogi, Mrs. Sunaina Rohra, Mr. C.D. Mathew, Mr. S.K. Sharma, Dr. B.K Das, Mrs. Pushpalata Satpathy, and other CSR and Medical staff were present on the camp.
Speaking on this occasion, the Chief-Guest of the programme Mr.Subodh Mishra praised this volunteerism of Jindalites and said “I am happy that JSPL Foundation is organizing such kind of voluntary blood donation camps in regular intervals for the benefit of the needy people of the locality”.
Mr. Bharat Rorha, Project Director, Phase 1B, visited the blood donation camp at Phase 1B plant site and extended his warm wishes to the donors by giving them rose-buds.
Speaking on this occasion Mr. Dinesh Kumar Saraogi, said “it is our pleasure, that we have been associated with the District Red Cross Society and the District Blood Bank since 2008 and have donated more than 3500 blood units by organizing various voluntary blood donation camps in our plant and its periphery”.
JSPL Foundation organized this blood donation camp in collaboration with District Blood Bank, Angul and collected 284 units today.
