Leading Jewellery Brand Kalyan Jewellers forays into Odisha

Bhubaneswar, June 4: Kalyan Jewellers the most trusted jeweller is all set to foray into Odisha market by opening its showroom in Bhubaneswar soon. And it will open three more showroom in West Bengal. The date of inaugurating Bhubaneswar showroom has been shifted to June 14.

Kalyan Jewellers CMD T S Kalyanaraman told media persons here that the company has invested Rs 60 crore for launch of inaugural showroom in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. And, we expanded our business in eastern India that the company has planning for long.

The first store of Kalyan was opened in 1993 in Thrissur. The Kalyan group derives its origins from textile retailing and wholesaling and has an experience of over 100 years in the trade.

The group is going to start 82 showroom in Bhubaneswar on June 14 by Kalyan’s brand ambassadors and superstars Amitabh Bachchan and Nagarjuna Akkineni. The group aims to invest Rs 800 crore to start 22 showrooms in India and West Asia. Kalyan Jewellers has set target to garner Rs 13,000 crore by the end of this fiscal.

The company is expecting turnover of Rs 200 crore from Odisha market in the current fiscal year. He said that over 2 lakh contemporary and traditional gold and diamond designs will be available at Bhubaneswar showroom.
